Common Questions

How much does JamFinder cost?
JamFinder is free to install. JamFinder Pro — which unlocks "My Jams" bookmarks, reminders, check-ins, issue reporting, and the ability to create and manage your own jams — is $2.99 / month or $24.99 / year, with the first month free on either plan. Both auto-renew at the end of the period unless you cancel. See the pricing section on the product page for full details.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?
On your iPhone, go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, tap JamFinder, and tap "Cancel Subscription." You'll keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. Apple handles all billing for App Store subscriptions — we don't have access to your payment method, and we can't process cancellations or refunds on our end. For refund questions, contact Apple Billing Support.

How do I create an account?
The JamFinder app's 'sign in' flow also serves as the account creation flow, so if you use the 'sign in' with a Google or Apple account JamFinder hasn't ever seen, it creates a new account for you. So, just open the JamFinder app and tap one of the 'sign in' buttons and you're on your way!

How do I find jams near me?
When you open the app, the map shows events in your current area. You can also use the search feature to look for specific types of events (like "blues jam" or "open mic") in any location.

How do I post my own jam or event?
Once you're signed in, you can create a new event from within the app. Add the venue, schedule, genre, and any other details to help musicians find your session.

How do notifications work?
When you bookmark an event to your "My Jams" list, you can opt in to notifications. You'll be reminded before upcoming sessions and notified of any cancellations or changes.

Is JamFinder available on Android?
Not yet. JamFinder is currently iOS only. We'd love to bring it to Android in the future.
